Welcome to our

Permanent hair removal center in Nice

  • The laser hair removal and electrolysis processes are only effective in the anagen phase, when the hair shaft is adjacent to the bulb and the bulb. During the other phases of the cycle (catagen and telogen phase), the hair shaft is no longer in contact with the bulb or the bulb (area of stem cells located in the pilosebaceous follicle just below the sebaceous gland). Thus, several treatment sessions will be necessary because only the hairs in the anagen phase of the area (30%) are not treated.

  • Before each laser hair removal session, the area should be shaved ideally 24 to 48 hours before. Shaving reduces the risk of burning the skin.

  • In case of hyper-sensitivity during the session, it may be recommended to apply a local anesthetic such as Emla - ideally one hour before the session under an occlusive cellophane dressing.

  • Due to the existence of melanin in the skin, the fluence (intensity / surface) will be reduced in the event of prior exposure to the sun of the area to be waxed (melanin competition of the skin and the hair).

  • In the aftermath of the session an application of Biafine is recommended in order to relieve. The treated area (s) must not be exposed to the sun for at least 72 hours.
